My wife and I spent months working on Dina Titus' gubernatorial campaign in Nevada (a tough loss to Jim Gibbons in 2006), then supported her successful run for Congress in 2008. In the midst of a tough political climate back home, she has been on the fence about Health Care Reform -- until today, when she announced her support!!
It's time to say thanks! Please join me in taking a moment to celebrate her decision, despite mounting resistance to HCR back home. The Republicans will no doubt be trying to capitalize on Titus' vote here, so if you are able to say thanks with your wallet, that would be awesome.
Dina is pragmatic and progressive, down to earth and a true leader, demonstrably willing to do the right thing. Let's make sure she knows how much we appreciate it.
